One trigger. No steering. Just how hard you dare to squeeze.
Tailout is slot car racing in a basement: a table of track, a bench of tools, a couch for whoever's waiting and a CRT TV for the results. Squeeze to go, lift to brake, and find out exactly how fast a corner can be taken before the car flies off the slot.

Race the way it felt
- Throttle is everything: carry too much into a bend and the tail steps out, then the car deslots
- Five cars at 1:32 scale, from a forgiving hatchback to a twitchy formula car
- Tune each one on the electronics bench: gearing, tyres, magnet, guide, springs and brake
- Ten tracks with two to four lanes, from a banked bowl to tight harbour streets
- Play with a controller's analog trigger (fully rebindable, with rumble) or the keyboard
Friends on the couch, or online
- Up to four drivers on one screen, each with their own controller
- Two players can share an iPhone or iPad, one half of the screen each
- Open an online room and share its code: up to eight people, four on the track at once, the rest waiting their turn
- Winner stays on, king of the hill or take turns: the room picks the rules
- While you wait, paint, tune or play the arcade; the game calls you when you're up
Build your own table
- Shape the road around posts, bank the bends up to 45°, add climbs and bridges
- Size the table to your own basement and dress it with grandstands, pits, floodlights, tyre walls and trees
- Test drive it, race it in reverse, and race friends on it online
Paint every car
- Airbrush with a pressure-sensitive trigger, mask with tape and stencils, mirror your work
- Gloss, matte, satin, metallic, metal flake, pearl, candy, chrome and primer
- Hundreds of stickers to win, and paint that chips when you crash
And the rest of the basement
- Grand Prix: five races, points, rotating lanes, against five levels of bots that drive like people (late braking, panic and all)
- Ten games on the arcade cabinet: brick breaking, a lunar freight run, a reactor to keep cool, night fishing and more
- Watch every race back, with studio cameras that cut to the battles and the crashes in slow motion
- A boombox playing the basement's own synthwave, or your own music
- Over 80 trophies for the shelves
- Your basement follows you to every machine you play on
No ads, no tracking
- No ads and no analytics in the game
- Play entirely offline; online rooms and cloud saves are there when you want them
- Every car, track and feature added later is free
